No ads on any tier
Free covers a real league.
Not a trial, not a countdown, and it does not expire. Paid tiers exist on paper and are priced below — none of them are on sale yet, and this page says which parts of them are actually built.
Whatever you pay, including nothing: no ads, and every member sees every stat for free. Charging a player to read their own league is not something we do on any tier.

Everything a small league needs to stop running on a spreadsheet: standings, a schedule, public league and team pages, player profiles, and a link anyone can read without an account.
What it covers
- One league
- One active season at a time
- Up to 8 teams in a season
- Unlimited players, games and past seasons
Reach a limit and nothing is deleted — it stops you adding more, and everything you already have stays as it is.
Working today
- Message center (email + in-app)
- Game reminders
- Data export (CSV/JSON)
Priced, not yet on sale
Paid tiers — planned, not yet on sale
These prices are settled and will not drift once they open. They are published now so nobody builds a league on the free tier and then discovers what the next step costs. When they do open, the free tier keeps working exactly as it does today.

Questions people ask first
- What happens if I downgrade or stop paying?
Paid plans aren't on sale yet, so today there's nothing to downgrade from. The rules for when there is are already built, and the first one is that nothing is deleted when a plan ends or changes.
If you cancel, you keep the paid plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then your leagues move to Free. If a payment fails, it's retried and you keep everything in the meantime.
A league that's over a free limit, such as more than 8 teams, keeps everything it has; the limit only stops you adding more. If you own more leagues than your plan covers, you choose which ones stay active. The rest become read-only, and your members can still see every stat and every past season in them.
- Do players pay anything?
No. LeagueBucket doesn't charge players, or anyone following a league, anything on any plan. A published league's pages are free to read without an account, and no stat, standing, schedule or result is held back from members.
If your league collects dues, that stays between you and your players. Collecting fees through LeagueBucket isn't built yet.
- Are there ads?
No. There are no ads on any plan, Free included, and we don't sell your members' data. Both are in our Terms of Service, and if either ever changed, account holders would get an email at least 30 days before it took effect. The no-ads commitment has the details.
- Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Signing up takes an email address and a password, and there's no card field anywhere in it. The free plan isn't a trial and doesn't expire, so there's nothing to cancel.
Why this page lists things it can't sell you
Because the alternative is a feature grid full of ticks that turn out to be a roadmap. The free tier is finished and genuinely enough to run a league on. Everything above it is named, priced and marked for what it is, so you can decide whether to start here knowing exactly what does and does not exist.
If the thing you need sits in a “still in build” column, start free anyway — you will not be charged for it, and your league will be waiting when it lands.
