For tennis leagues
6-4, 7-6(4). Typed once, and the standings are done.
A club singles league or a weeknight doubles flight usually lives in one organiser's inbox, as scores sent in after each match. LeagueBucket gives those scores one place to go.
Run it as a league of players or of teams. Every player gets a page with their matches and their record, and anyone can check the standings without an account.
Every feature below works today, apart from the short list at the end. Items marked with a plan name are priced in that plan, and paid plans aren't on sale yet. Everything else is on the free plan.
Scoring the match
Scored set by set
Enter the games each side won in each set. The sets won become the match score and decide the winner, so there's no result to pick. A new match opens with three sets, and you can add more for a best of five.
Or only the match score
Set scores are optional. A league that doesn't keep them types the sets each side won and nothing else.
Set scores on the public pages
The set-by-set score shows on the match's own page, the league's schedule and the league's front page.
Tiebreaks, written the way tennis writes them
For a set that went to a tiebreak, enter the points the loser took in it and the score reads 7-6(4).
Players, pairs and the schedule
A league of players, not teams
Setting up, choose players instead of teams. The schedule pairs players against each other, the standings rank them, and each player's page shows their own record.
Doubles
Enter each pair as a team with its two players on the roster, and the league runs like any other league of teams.
Postponed and cancelled games
Cancel or postpone a game and it stays out of the standings until it's played. Anyone subscribed to the schedule sees it marked cancelled in their calendar rather than quietly disappearing.
The standings
A table that keeps itself
A new league ranks players on 3 points for a match won and 0 for a match lost, with each player's record beside their points.
Your league's own pointsCommissioner plan
Change what a win and a loss are worth, or rank by winning percentage instead.
Ties broken by a rule, not an argument
Out of the box a tie goes to most wins, then head-to-head record, then the difference between sets won and lost, then most sets won, then a coin flip you record. Reorder them in Settings, and the table says which rule placed each tied player.
What every league gets
Game reminders that send themselves
Everyone with an email on file hears about each game ahead of time: who, when and where. Nobody has to remember to send it.
One message to the whole league
Email the whole league or one team from one screen. Game reminders don't count toward the free plan's 50 messages a month.
Pages anyone can read
The league, every team and every player get a public page. No app to install and no account needed to look.
The schedule in their own calendar
Players can subscribe to their team's games from their phone's calendar. Move or cancel a game and the change shows up there the next time the calendar checks.
Ties settled by a rule you can see
Pick the order of tiebreakers once, before anyone knows who they help. The standings say which rule placed each tied team.
Start from the spreadsheet you have
Import teams, players and rosters from a .csv or .xlsx file instead of typing them in again.
DivisionsCommissioner plan
Split the league into divisions, each with its own standings.
Next season in a few clicksCommissioner plan
Start a new season with last season's divisions and each team's players already in place.
Your data, whenever you want it
Download everything as CSV or JSON, on every plan, without asking anyone.
See one running
Tennis leagues that publish their pages on LeagueBucket. Anyone can look; no account needed. Leagues tagged Sample are made up, to show what a LeagueBucket league looks like.
What it doesn't do yet
Listed here so you don't find out after you've set up your league. Items marked on the way are being built. The rest aren't scheduled: if your league needs one, tell us.
