LeagueBucket

For adult football leagues

Know who's in the playoffs before the argument starts.

Flag, touch or tackle, an adult football league is a short season where every result matters and one person is keeping track of all of it. LeagueBucket keeps the schedule, the scores and the standings where the whole league can see them.

Enter a score and the standings are done. Every team gets a page with its games and its roster, and anyone can look without an account.

Every feature below works today, apart from the short list at the end. Items marked with a plan name are priced in that plan, and paid plans aren't on sale yet. Everything else is on the free plan.

Scores and standings

  • Enter the score, mark the result

Type each team's points and mark the game a win, a loss or a draw. The standings update as soon as you save.

  • A table that keeps itself

A new league ranks teams on 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss, with each team's record beside its points.

  • Your league's own pointsCommissioner plan

Change what a win, a draw and a loss are worth, or rank by winning percentage instead.

  • Follow a game in progress

Save the score as the game goes and set the quarter you're in. The schedule shows the running score and where the game is, like 3rd Quarter.

  • PlayoffsCommissioner plan

End the season with a single-elimination bracket seeded from the standings, with byes for the top seeds when the field isn't a full bracket and a third-place game if you want one. Winners move on as you enter scores, and the winner of the final is the champion.

Rosters and the schedule

  • Positions, drawn on the field

Give each player a position on the roster. Football's list runs from quarterback to long snapper, with offensive lineman or defensive back for leagues that don't split them further. The team's public page draws the field with each player where they play.

  • Rainouts

Cancel or postpone a game and it stays out of the standings until it's played. Anyone subscribed to the schedule sees it marked cancelled in their calendar rather than quietly disappearing.

Level on points

  • Ties broken by a rule, not an argument

Out of the box a tie goes to most wins, then head-to-head record, then point differential, then most points scored, then a coin flip you record.

  • Your rules, if they differ

Reorder the tiebreakers in Settings, or cap how much one game can add to differential, and the table says which rule placed each tied team.

What every league gets

  • Game reminders that send themselves

Everyone with an email on file hears about each game ahead of time: who, when and where. Nobody has to remember to send it.

  • One message to the whole league

Email the whole league or one team from one screen. Game reminders don't count toward the free plan's 50 messages a month.

  • Pages anyone can read

The league, every team and every player get a public page. No app to install and no account needed to look.

  • The schedule in their own calendar

Players can subscribe to their team's games from their phone's calendar. Move or cancel a game and the change shows up there the next time the calendar checks.

  • Ties settled by a rule you can see

Pick the order of tiebreakers once, before anyone knows who they help. The standings say which rule placed each tied team.

  • Start from the spreadsheet you have

Import teams, players and rosters from a .csv or .xlsx file instead of typing them in again.

  • DivisionsCommissioner plan

Split the league into divisions, each with its own standings.

  • Next season in a few clicksCommissioner plan

Start a new season with last season's divisions and each team's players already in place.

  • Your data, whenever you want it

Download everything as CSV or JSON, on every plan, without asking anyone.
